The Office of Safety and Occupational Health (OOSH) is responsible for designing, leading and coordinating the Department-wide Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs. The OOSH provides guidance, policy, oversight for the Department on:

Collectively, these key OSH programs promote the Secretary’s commitment to “providing a safe working environment, preventing accidents, and minimizing illness.”
