The Federal Employees Dental and Vision Program (FEDVIP) provide supplemental dental and vision insurance coverage. The FEDVIP is a new program which is separate and different from the FEHB Program. Dental plans provide a comprehensive range of services. Vision plans provide comprehensive eye examinations and coverage for lenses, frames and contact lenses. Other benefits such as discounts on lasik surgery may also be available. FEDVIP open season runs concurrently with the open season for the Federal Employee’s Health Benefit Program and the Flexible Spending Accounts for Federal Employees Program.
