Labor-Management Forum

The Department of Commerce and representatives of its bargaining unit employees created the Department of Commerce Labor-Management Fourm, as required by Section 3(a)(i) of Executive Order 13522, "Creating Labor-Management Forums to Improve Delivery of Government Services," (October 9, 2009).  The charter for the Forum was approved on April 21, 2010, at the meeting of the Forum and signed by management and labor members of the Forum.

The initial meeting of the pre-forum was on March 2, 2010. 

The Department's plan to implement Executive Order 13522 was certified by the National Council on Federal Labor-Management Relations on May 5, 2010.

The next meeting of the Forum is scheduled for April 17, 2013.
